I don´t think the user needs to be on the adm local group in the computer, it only needs write/read access in the PDMS intallation directory.

    hi,
orlandoamaral is right, C:\AVEVA is also necessary.
now they tried to use plotserv, and this didn't run ... :)
OK, so they get the permission for C:\AVEVA too.

    Active X

The not working of the plotserver could be due the fact that Active X is turned off. See attached.

    yar_nl, I didn´t understand why you´re talking about plotserver?

Oh!! I miss that yar_nl, sorry!!
Maybe if they try to plot once with administrative privilegies may solve this issue, but you first need to put the user in the adm group and then plot, this allow the user profile to make necessary changes in the OS registry for Activex work properly.

    aequitas,

PDMS users will have to have write access only on the design and pdmsuser because the pdmsuser information will be recorded in PDMS and will also be where the extraction of files from the PDMS, eg session_aequitas, reports, plans, forms & display ...
If you have set the PDMSUSER is the D: \ User or C: \ User PC each User, you will have free access to write to D: \ User or C: \ User

In my case, I installed the PDMS in a server and the project I put on another server. And I needed to release write access to the project and in the PDMSUSER defined in my customization.

You will have to do the same thing, give write access to the project and in the set to the PDMSUSER which is geared for customization or EVARSA of your installation.
