Conference was Great! - 10-25-2006

The ISEIT/Viewpoint Conference was really great. I met a ton of members and I have plenty that will be posting and registering soon. The Viewpoint commitee had volunteers that are going to moderate the sections that I will be adding soon for VPE,VPRM,VNET, etc. This will be great because it will take us into the other Vantage products.

I gave away 250 mousepads at the conference and Viewpoint gave away shirts, coffee mugs, pens.

Aveva gave away pens,cool organizers,zip drives,bags.

Some of the events included a dinner mystery show sponsored by Aveva and a Night Bay cruise with Karaoke singing by ViewPoint. Lots of pics where taken so I hope they get loaded soon too.

I would like to thank Aveva and Viewpoint for having PDMSWorld.com there this year and making us feel welcomed. Alot of our users want to get together more often so this is sure to happen in the future.

Expert is correct...the conference was GREAT. We are rapping it up today and by around 4pm CST. As soon as I get the pictures gathered from everyone they will be on the viewpointamericas.com website. This is the place where everyone need to be next year. It is the best place to meet users, get hands on information, make contacts & friends and last but not least you have FUN!!!! Guaranteed... You get to speak directly with AVEVA reps and development reps and get answers directly from them which is better than just thru support channels. If you didn't come this year what can we do at the VPA committee to get you there next year.

Expert: Please make a survey to see what it will take to get user to the conference. What will it take for the companies to send their users.

Any place but Las Vegas or Houston. No way my company is sending me to Las Vegas and having it in Houston doesn't get me a room at the conference. I couldn't enjoy the evening events.

If you want to learn, listen first!

I thought the saying was "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!". I noticed that last year it was in New Orleans. How did that city do hosting the conference? or

Well, I had a blast at this year ISEIT and Viewpoint. It was great finally meeting expert, cvitte71, cadfusion and all the other pdmsworld users that attend it. I really learned a lot and I am looking foward to next year. Like expert said, you do get to meet lots of people.
